  The Land Transport Authority of Singapore has awarded Alstom a contract worth around €240 million to provide new trains for two metro lines, the Circle Line (CCL) and North East Line (NEL), along with signaling upgrade for both lines.

• Alstom will supply a new full signalling system to Denmark

  Banedanmark, the Danish railway infrastructure owner, has awarded Alstom a contract worth around €300 million to replace the existing signaling system in the East region of Denmark with Atlas, Alstom’s ERTMS based signalling solution. It will be implemented on 12 intercity and regional lines in Sealand and Fyn regions which cover half the country.

  Alstom and the leading Scottish marine developer SSE Renewables have signed a new joint venture agreement to develop the Costa Head Wave Project, an up to 200 Megawatts (MW) wave energy site located north of mainland Orkney, in The Crown Estate’s Pentland Firth and Orkney Waters Strategic Area.

  Adif, the Spanish railway infrastructure manager, has awarded a contract globally worth around €280 million to the Alstom-led consortium to build and maintain for a period of 20 years the signalling and telecommunications systems for the high speed line Albacete-Alicante.

• Alstom wins HVDC contract worth around €240 million in Sweden

  Alstom Grid has been awarded a contract worth approximately €240 million by the Swedish utility Svenska Kraftnät for the 1440 MW South-West Link. The project will connect Barkeryd in central Sweden to Hurva in southern Sweden, using High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) technology.
