Alstom has a toolkit for suppliers to communicate its sustainable sourcing policy and to get them to join up. It includes the following elements:
- A PowerPoint presentation on the Group’s sustainable development and sustainable sourcing strategy available below as an attachment. This explains the importance of sustainable development for Alstom and lists steps to create long-term ties involving suppliers in incorporating sustainable development in their work.
- An e-learning training module to increase our suppliers' awareness of sustainable development. To access the first two parts of the training, click on the link below.
- When a supplier is assessed by EcoVadis, it can access its results, which are published on an online platform. A standard scorecard is available below. Results are published in order to make suppliers aware of their sustainable development level and to enable them to develop, with the support of Alstom sourcing managers, an action plan for improvements if required.
