EcoVadis training
Since October 2009, Alstom has developed a specific training course in partnership with the evaluation agency, EcoVadis, for its main buyers and quality managers.
Its objective is to get all participants to
- know Alstom's sustainable sourcing policy and toolkit, including Ecovadis' supplier assessment platform
- understand Alstom’s priorities
- assist a supplier with developing a corrective action plans.
This programme is mostly carried out online, in order to facilitate its rapid deployment to all countries where Alstom employees are located. At the end of March 2011, about 300 people have been trained (sourcing managers, buyers, etc.).
E-Learning ethics and compliance
Business ethics is an important aspect of any sustainable sourcing policy. That is why, an e-learning module on Alstom’s Code of Ethics has been developed in order to communicate Alstom’s policy on ethics throughout the group.
