Waste recycling
Target: 80% of all waste recycled by 2015
Alstom continues to pursue measures that reduce the production of waste from its activities. According to data reports, a trend in accordance with targets has emerged over the last two years:
- total waste production decreased in 2010, compared to the previous year
- percentage of waste recycled increased
However, inconsistencies between the Group and certain sites in defining “waste” have pushed the publication of this data until 2012.
