Alstom’s 1.67 MW, 2 MW and 3 MW wind turbine technologies are designed for high reliability and easy maintenance. Both wind turbines are designed with high reliability in mind. One example of this innovation is the ALSTOM PURE TORQUE TM concept.

ALSTOM PURE TORQUE TM concept allows for the seperation of bending loads from torque loads, transmitting torque loads uniquely to the low speed shaft. This reduces the stress on the gearbox – and keeps the wind turbine running productively for longer
