Wind 

Alstom Wind designs, assembles, installs, and commissions a wide range of onshore wind turbines spanning 1.67 MW to 3 MW.

The hub is resting on a large cast frame on two bearings, transferring all wind deflection loads (red arrows) directly to the tower, the shaft is connected to the front part of the hub and inserted inside the large casted frame, transferring only the torque (green arrows) to the gearbox

• Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSG)  

Alstom's HRSG means high performance in cycling operations, cost effective construction, and efficient operations.

Today’s prevailing market conditions challenge owners and operators of combined cycle power plants (CCPP) to add new capacity at lower cost, operate more efficiently and cycle more frequently to meet stringent environmental requirements.This higher efficiency means lower overall cost per MW output. Additionally, improved thermal efficiency adds higher output per unit of emission, which often facilitates the approval of legislative permits.

• Boiler products - Air Preheater  

Alstom is a world leader in the development of energy recovery and other boiler products including regenerative air preheaters, coal pulverizers and gas-to-gas heat exchangers.

The Ljungström® Regenerative Air Preheater is more widely used than any other type of heat exchanger for comparable service in the steam generating industry.
