Compensation and benefits


Our policy is to ensure fair, equitable and non-discriminatory pay. We also reward individual and collective performance and contribution, and share with our employees the overall success of Alstom.

Benefit programmes are considered a crucial part of the total compensation package. We take special care to ensure they meet the diverse needs our employees. Finally, our offer also includes medical benefits, pension, insurance schemes, etc, all of which are an important part or our "Care for People" policy.

The total compensation package is shaped to recognise various levels of employee responsibility, objectives achievement, expertise and contribution. It includes the base annual salary, but it may also include various other elements:

  • long-term incentives such as stock options
