
Alstom China has participated in China's power generation, transmission and transport infrastructure development for more than 50 year through various key project.
Alstom Power is involved in a number of nuclear projects in China such as Daya Bay, Ling Ao Phase I, II and III Hong Yan He and Taishan nuclear power plants, and hydro project, as Three Georges and several pumped storage projects. The company also provides boilers, steam turbine and generator sets for power plants, and possesses important presence in the area of environmental control systems.
Alstom Transport has participated in China’s rail transport development by providing electric locomotives, metro cars and signaling system to urban network in Chinese cities. Alstom supplied the signaling system for Beijing Airport Link and Beijing Line 2, which served millions of visitors and athletes during Beijing Olympics 2008.
Alstom Grid has major references in transmission, which include: HVDC - Ningdong-Shandong HVDC link and Three Gorges HVDC Project (Gezhou Dam to Shanghai), bushing for SGCC's 1st 1100 kV transmission line and 550 kV GIL for China Guangdong Nuclear Group Ningde nuclear substation.
