Rotary regenerative air pre-heaters are very compact, easy to clean, and are favoured components for regenerative heating in power generation. Although pre-heater represents approx. 2% of investment into a modern boiler, it is able to return up to 20% heat output into a process.
Regenerative pre-heaters Ljungström®
- Regenerative air pre-heaters, based on traditional two-sector type, were developed into three-sector, four-sector and concentric types. Three-sector type is one with the lowest investment cost, four-sector type achieves the best leakage values and the lowest values of fly ash in primal air. Concentric type is very flexible and can be used for boilers using a wide range of coal quality.
- Regenerative gas-gas heater is special type of regenerative heater by design and material, and it is adapted to hard conditions of power plants desulphurization. Our gas-gas heaters are used in almost all power plants in Czech and Slovak republics.
- According to customer’s needs, we are able to deliver regenerative air or gas-gas heater, perform reconstruction or modernization with complete assembly, and/or perform qualified supervision for assembly that is carried out by local personnel. We can perform inspections, revisions, or adjustments associated with commissioning, and eventually advise and recommend further operation steps.
