This is the first delivery as part of the Western Australian Government’s @metronetperth Railcar Program. From hot summer days to cold winters - our new Flexity tram was put to the test to see if it could handle varying environmental changes from the climate chamber in Vienna, Austria. ☀️🌧️ In ten days, this tram for DVG Duisburger Verkehrsgesellschaft went through all of the weather extremes: 60 degrees with sunlight, wind speeds of up to 42 km/h, drizzle, -20 degrees Celsius and hours of snow flurries. The interior was also tested with electric blankets on the seats and artificially increased humidity. After a few optimisations, the tram will be able to travel reliably and energy-efficiently in any weather condition. #Trams #ClimateTesting #Environment

We’re going to extend the Citadis trams for Le Mans Métropole in France!🚊 From 32 to 44 metres, the extended trams will have two additional double doors on each side, to make it easier for passengers to get on and off, and allowing for a total capacity of 296 passengers. These energy-efficient trams will also incorporate air-conditioning systems that comply with the latest environmental regulations.

Have you spotted the new Movia C30 metro trains in Sweden? The carriages, renowned for their robust regional design and are described as “straightforward and Scandinavian,” feature many delightful design touches. For instance, the ventilation holes under the windows incorporate playful elements such as the computer game character Pacman, crowns, hearts, and play symbols, offering charming details for commuters on the go. We’ll be supplying an additional 20 C30 metro trains on the existing contract for SL, to replace the older C20 trains for the Stockholm metro system. #MobilityByNature #Sweden #MetroDesign

The Inclusive Trains project started over a year ago, when one of our employees at the Madrid signalling centre submitted a proposal to the Alstom Foundation. Today, two students with intellectual disabilities are now doing their professional internships as cabin crew, thanks to a fantastic collaboration between Fundación Juan XXIII, OUIGO España, and the Alstom Foundation. #TeamAlstom #Inclusive

Our maintenance team in Madrid, Spain have begun modernising the seats on RENFE’s S114 fleet, which currently operates on the high speed Valladolid-Segovia-Madrid line. In total, 13 trains with 238 seats will be renewed, including 2 adapted for people with reduced mobility. This project aims to improve the travel experience and passenger comfort. These units are also specifically designed and built to provide high-speed in medium distance services, with a maximum commercial speed of 250km/h. #HighSpeed #Spain #TrainDesign
