In 1995, ALSTOM Power Energy Recovery GmbH was formed through a merger of the two traditional companies Schmidt'sche Heissdampf Gesellschaft mbH, Kassel and Rekuperator Schack GmbH (Schack), Düsseldorf. The company operates from its main office and workshop in Kassel and branch offices in Düsseldorf and Bammental. ALSTOM Power Energy Recovery GmbH is a partner of the world´s leading engineering companies, contractors and operators in chemical, petrochemical, metallurgical, glass smelting and oil & gas exploration industries.
