This project led by the US Department of Energy is designed to integrate distributed energy resources into the electrical grid efficiently in order to help the DOE reach its smart grid targets for 2030, including a 40% improvement in system efficiency. Alstom Grid contributed its Integrated Distribution Management System (iDMS), capable of integrating multiple types of distributed resources and monitoring information from several distributed interfaces.
