The EU “TWENTIES” smart grid demonstrator project aims to display, through large-scale demonstrations, the benefits of critical technologies to the improvement of the pan-European transmission network, enabling Europe to increase its use of renewable energies by 2020. Alstom Grid contributes to the TWENTIES’ DC Grid demonstrator through its power electronics and online stability expertise.
