Alstom Grid Italia (born in 2010 with Alstom’s acquisition of the Transmission activities of Areva T&D) has more than 370 employees in 3 sites that have more than 80 years of history. Among them the former Passoni & Villa in Milan. In 2009 transmission activities generated a turnover of some 80 million Euros.

- High voltage disconnectors, compact substation solutions and power connectors for the world market
- Circuit breakers and substations for the Italian market
- Condenser bushings
- Real-time automation solutions for the Smart and Secure operation of energy assets in Italy and for world wide operations of Italian contractors.
