Alstom completes most powerful all-electric “Make-In-India” locomotive from Madhepura and announces contract wins worth €75 million in India


Alstom announced the completion of its first all-electric locomotive from its state-of-the-art locomotive facility at Madhepura in the State of Bihar , on schedule. 

Alstom reinforces its digital offering with the acquisition of 21net, expert in onboard internet


Alstom has signed a purchase agreement for the acquisition of 21net, from the Innovacom fund and other investors. 21net is a provider of on-board Internet and passenger infotainment for the railway industry.

Alstom and the SNTF celebrate the commercial entry into service of Coradia Polyvalent for Algeria

Alstom just shipped the first trainset for Lusail tramway from its plant in La Rochelle.

Alstom to supply 20 additional metros to Île-de-France Mobilités and the RATP


Alstom will supply Île-de-France Mobilités and the RATP  with 20 MP14 metros, consisting of 5 cars each, for line 11 of the Paris metro for an amount worth 157 million euros. 

Alstom and NTL’s electric mobility solution Aptis in test operation in Germany


Alstom and its subsidiary NTL are sending Aptis, a new experience of mobility, on a roadshow in Germany. Aptis will be tested together with Hamburger Hochbahn AG (HOCHBAHN) for two weeks in Hamburg. Thereafter, Aptis will be tested by Berliner Verkehrsbetriebe (BVG).

Alstom to supply 30 electric locomotives to ONCF


Alstom has been awarded a contract with ONCF for the supply of 30 electric Prima locomotives. The contract – which is the result of an international tender launched by ONCF in March 2017 – is worth around €130 million.

Alstom expands into new location in Melbourne


Today, Alstom, global transport signaling leader and market leader in North America, held a ribbon-cutting ceremony in partnership with the Melbourne Regional Chamber of Commerce, at its new location on S. Babcock St., adjacent to the Orlando Melbourne International Airport.
