On September, 29th took place in Paris the 2011 edition of the Innov’Eco conference on Smart Grid and Energy Storage, sponsored by Alstom. Alstom Grid, following the kick-off of the NiceGrid demonstrator project in the south of France (which includes integration of distributed energy storage within an eco-district in the city of Nice), presented on this occasion its vision and strategy on energy storage integration within smart grid developments.
INNOV’ECO is a quarterly conference gathering key players of the French and European cleantech and energy industries as well as representatives of the public authorities.
Regis Hourdouillie, Smart Grid demonstrator projects director, presented the current technology developments in distributed energy storage, renewable energies integration and domestic network. This was another opportunity for Alstom Grid to reaffirm its commitment to Smart Grid deployment in the French and European market, especially through the recent NiceGrid and IssyGrid projects.
