In partnership with the Australian Rail Association, UGL Rail, Metro Trains, Alstom invites you to join key rail industry organisations at the Final of the Great Netball Shootout at the MCG on Saturday, 28 May, 2011.
The event will get underway on the MCG arena from 10.00am with the Final Shootout and presentations from midday.
The event is part of an initiative to maintain the momentum in building interest in the variety of rewarding careers in the rail sector.
The Great Netball Shootout is one of a series of initiatives by UGL, supported by the Australasian Railway Association, Alstom, Metro Trains and Skilled Group, to promote career opportunities and diversity in the rail sector. More information on careers in the rail industry can be found at www.railcareers.net.au.
With the support of National and Victorian netball organisations, netballers of all ages have been encouraged to try their shooting skills at the netball interactive within the National Sports Museum.
Thousands have participated over the past nine months and each entrant has been provided with a comprehensive kit of information on rail careers.
From those participating, some 250 people have been randomly selected to compete in the Final Shootout at the MCG on Saturday, 28 May.
Fantastic prizes are on offer: a trip for two to France, donated by Alstom; to Hong Kong, donated MTM; and on the GHAN, donated by the Skilled Group.
We would very much appreciate your support by joining us on May 28 at the MCG any time from 10.00am.
Entry for the day will be via Gate 3
