Keith Stentiford Named New Regional Vice-President for Alstom Grid North America

Washington, D.C. - Alstom Grid, a global leader in electrical grid technology, today announced the appointment of Keith Stentiford to the newly created position of Regional Vice-President for North America, which includes Canada, Mexico and the United States.

In this new position, Mr. Stentiford is responsible for regional sales, solutions and service operations, and the region’s profit and loss. He is based in Alstom’s U.S. headquarters, located in Washington, D.C., and reports directly to Michel Augonnet, Alstom Grid’s Senior Vice-President Commercial Solutions.

Throughout his twenty-five year career, Mr. Stentiford has held multiple senior management positions in the field of power transmission and distribution, including several key positions within Siemens on three different continents. Between 2004 and 2006, he was President and CEO of Spescom Software Inc., a Nasdaq-listed software company based in San Diego, California.

Prior to taking on his new role with Alstom Grid, Stentiford served in various capacities as an officer of Alstom’s Transport division, where he most recently oversaw the company’s North American business operations as President and (Interim) Managing Director.

In addition to his responsibilities as Alstom Grid Regional Vice-President, Mr. Stentiford currently sits on the Board of Directors of the Southwest Energy Alliance, a non-profit trade organization dedicated to building the necessary infrastructure to lead the way to U.S. energy independence and economic revitalization in the Southwest U.S.

A graduate of the Cape College of Advanced Technical Education in Cape Town, South Africa, Mr. Stentiford holds a degree in electrical engineering.
