Turkmenistan Energy Minister Murad Artikov and Ashkabat Governor and Mayor Shamuhammed Durduliyev, Chairman of Calik Holding Ahmet Calik and CEO of Calik Enerji Saim Dinc, and top level executives of Calik Holding visited Power Transformers Factory of Alstom located in Gebze.

Alstom Turkey Country President Adil Tekin, Alstom Grid SECA (South Europe/Central Asia) Trade Vice President Tunc Tezel and Alstom Grid Turkey Turnkey Delivery Systems Unit General Manager Ilter Cambazoglu accompanied the delegation that wanted to personally see Alstom Gebze Plant, which is one of the leading power transformer factories in the world and which exports 85% of its production.

Alstom team informed the delegation led by Turkmenistan Energy Minister Murad Artikov about the references of Alstom Grid Turkey in the region and in the world, and during the factory visit that was held subsequently, Alstom team provided detailed information about the production processes, capacity and quality of the factory.

During the visit, Artikov, who learnt that Alstom Gebze Plant was one of the largest pants in the world in the related field and it had one of the leading accredited test laboratories, expressed his pleasure to see the factory as an excellent reference for the voltage and power levels according to the needs of Turkmenistan.

Alstom Turkey Country President Adil Tekin expressed his pleasant with the visit of Murad Artikov and Turkmenistan delegation that visited the factory with the officials of Calik Holding and stated as follows: We had the opportunity to share with the Turkmenistan delegation our product and service quality at the world standards, which is our pride, in the Power Transformer Factory in Gebze, and we would like to thank to them and the officials of Calik Holding for their visit.

Alstom Grid Turkey, which manufactured the largest 3-phase regulated shunt reactor of the world in Gebze facilities with the production capacity of 36.000 MVA in the past days, had also manufactured the largest converter transformer for the German Railways in April. The company still keeps the record in hand with the largest arc furnace transformer (300 MVA) in the world, which was manufactured in 2010.

Alstom Grid Turkey Gebze Plant is preferred not only in Turkey, but also all over the world in the field of power transmission with the quality standards, modern manufacturing techniques and comprehensive test laboratories. The company exports approximately 85% of its production to the countries all over the world and it is the export champion in the field of power transmission and distribution.
