From October 8 to 10, Alstom participated in the 46th week of Associação Brasileira Técnica de Celulose e Papel (ABTCP), considered the largest event that gather national and international suppliers to the pulp and paper sector. The purpose of the event is to bring together professionals that are searching for improvement and modernization of the sector.
This year, the theme of the meeting was "Clean Technologies and Eco-Efficiency ." Performed at the Transamerica ExpoCenter, in São Paulo , the fair was attended by 51 companies and about 7,000 visitors
Alstom participated as an exhibitor with a stand of 40m ² in which visitors could interact with a touch screen TV that showed videos and explanations of sectors and activities of Alstom in Brazil.
Operating for 45 years in the pulp and paper sector, ABTCP is currently one of the most important associations in the world in this sector. Founded with the goal of qualifying technically paper manufacturers in Brazil to lay the foundation for a sustainable industry, the Association brings together over a thousand members and produces and publishes specialized information on the supply chain as a whole. ABTCP annually promotes the largest and most successful technical conference and exhibition of Latin America .
