The meaning of offshore wind in the energy mix of the future basic conditions and capabilities

Within the scope of the energy turnaround in Germany, offshore wind energy plays an important role. A number of challenges for manufacturers and operators have been solved, the technological advancement of the grid connections  and the wind turbines progresses. The capabilities and necessary basic conditions of the offshore wind energy in the energy mix as well as an overview about the industrialisation of the technology were the subjects discussed at the Alstom future dialogue in Berlin.
