Hakan Karadoğan has been appointed as Alstom Grid Turkey Power Transformers Unit Managing Director. Alstom Grid Turkey has been manufacturing power transformers in Gebze site since the 1960s and exports 85% of its production. It is the Turkish export champion in the category of “Power Transmission and Distribution Equipment”.
After ten years, this is the first time that a Turkish managing director has been appointed to Gebze plant with Karadoğan. Karadoğan previously held the same position in the transformer manufacturing plant of Alstom Grid in China.
Hakan Karadoğan graduated from Istanbul Technical University, Department of Electrical Engineering in 1995. Karadoğan took roles in various positions in Alstom where he was first employed as the design engineer in 1996 following his graduation. Karadoğan, speaks English fluently, and is a member of IEC (International Electrotechnical Committee) Turkish Mirror Committee. He is married with two children.
