Councillor Porchietto visits the Alstom site in Savigliano
Councillor for work and professional training of the Piedmont Region, Claudia Porchietto, today has visited the Alstom site in Savigliano (CN - 1,200 employees), worldwide center of excellence of the Group for the design and production of high-speed trains (Pendolino) and regional trains.
On this occasion, Alstom have presented Startupper!, the training project carried out in collaboration with Centro Formazione Professionale Cebano Monregalese, Cnos-Fap and Adecco, the world leader in the management of human resources.
Since the end of November, 24 young engineering graduates selected in partnership with Adecco and its specialized consultants in the selection of technical profiles and production specialists, attend a training course of 300 hours organized by the CFP Cebano Monregalese and Cnos-Fap, waiting for regional funding.
The best 15 participants will be recruited with fixed-term contract by Adecco to work in Alstom for about a year as testers, with the opportunity to collaborate on major projects, such as the 70 regional trains for Trenitalia and Pendolino trains for Switzerland and Poland.
The aim of the initiative is to qualify graduates through a training on-the-job that allows them to experience concretely what they have learned in university and begin to specialize in the railway sector.
