Alstom is committed to producing renewable hydropower for over a century. The company views hydropower as part of a long-term sustainable energy plan that can help North America rise to the energy challenges it is facing.  Water to wire, Alstom helps stabilize Americas grid and does so proudly.

Alstom will join over 500 hydro professionals in the nations capital for the 2014 National Hydropower Associations Annual Conference from April 28th-30th, in Washington, DC.  This conference seeks to bring together the entire industry to collectively strengthen the voice of this silent renewable and to advocate for this reliable and renewable resource.

Attended by owners, operators, developers, regulators, consultants, analysts, manufacturers, and service providers, just to name a few, the conference provides attendees with the opportunity to engage in dialogue with elected officials and federal agency staff on topics such as the industrys growth potential, relicensing, market structures, compliance, and financing.

Alstoms Debbie Mursch, Director, Market Strategy and Development, will lead a session on Monday afternoon, April 28th entitled The Crucial Role of Electricity Storage in Making Transmission Grids Reliable and Resilient.
