Alstoms press release

The ad hoc committee of independent directors of Alstom, chaired by Mr. Jean-Martin Folz, met today in the presence of Mr. Patrick Kron, Chairman of the Board and CEO, with senior officers of Siemens and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries who presented the terms of a proposal relating to Energy activities of Alstom.

This proposal will be reviewed by the ad hoc committee and submitted to the Board of Directors of Alstom in the coming days.
