Timo Ala-Heikkilä appointed Unit Managing Director for Power Compensation Products business

B.Sc Timo Ala-Heikkilä, 46, has been appointed Unit Managing Director for Power Compensation Products business at ALSTOM Grid Oy, effective August 1st, 2014. The Power Compensation Products business unit engineers and manufactures products for reactive power compensation and harmonic filtering in the Tampere factory.

Timo Ala-Heikkilä will replace Salvador Lamas-Manteca, who has been working as acting Unit Managing Director since January 2014 in addition to his role as Global Reactive Power Compensation Activity Director.

Timo is joining Alstom from ABB, where he has been working in Finland and abroad since 1992 in various tasks within projects, sales and marketing, supply chain and operations management.
