Alstom signs Memorandum of Understanding with IJENKO

Alstom signs Memorandum of Understanding with IJENKO

Alstom Grid and IJENKO[i] have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to jointly commercialise integrated solutions for smart homes combining home based smart energy gateways and cloud based energy services, such as energy saving monitoring, remote energy home control and demand response.[ii]

The solutions will enable utilities, retailers and aggregators to empower, and engage residential customers to understand, measure, control their consumption, and improve their energy efficiency with intuitive and personalised tools. They will also allow cities municipalities to provide their residents with these energy efficiency services. They will therefore be able to engage new conversations with them on a sustainable & collective energy management at the level of their city.

The solution will include Alstom’s Community Energy Management System (CEMS) software to monitor, analyse and optimise energy usage within territories as well as Alstom’s demand response management system (DRMS). IJENKO will provide Home Energy Management System (HEMS) to provide analytics on the end user energy usage, and advanced homes energy management features.
