Alstom discusses urban mobility for smart cities at Connected Smart Cities, in São Paulo

Alstom will be present at the 2017 Connected Smart Cities, on June 21st and 22nd, to contribute to the discussions about urban mobility and the development of cities based on its global experience and the solutions implemented in the country. The event will take place in São Paulo and promotes the exchange of information and the dissemination of ideas for Brazilian cities to become smarter and more connected.

The event - to be held at the Frei Caneca Convention Center - will count on panel discussions featuring two executives from Alstom, sponsor of the event, to take the company's expertise to debates about smart transport, along with other experts.

Valentin Lopez, Alstom's Signaling Solutions Director for Latin America, will participate in panel Smart transport systems: traffic management and reduction of congestion at cities, at 11.30 am. This forum will discuss topics such as the use of real-time data and technologies applied to traffic management and to the integration of technologies in a turnkey solution to improve mobility.

During panel Solutions for Mobility, at 2 pm, Cristiano Saito, Alstom's Business Development Director for Latin America, will participate in the discussion about the change in mobility choices by citizens thanks to shared mobility services, emerging technologies and social trends, the impacts of multimodal systems for the planning and development of a sustainable mobility plan and the case of Rio de Janeiro's LRV, supplied by Alstom.
