9000 km from France to Kazakhstan by solar bicycle

Pauline de La Marnierre, a former Alstom Transport employee in Kazakhstan, will complete a 9000 km bike trip in just 2 months, passing through 10 Alstom Transport sites from Belfort, France, to Astana Kazakhstan, starting 16 May 2015.

Alstom and NASL to retrofit steam turbines at Ukai and Wanakbori power stations in Gujarat, India

Alstom and NASL have been awarded a contract worth approximately €26.6 million (INR 2067 million) by Gujarat State Electricity Corporation Limited (GSECL) to renovate and modernise two steam turbines at the Ukai and Wanakbori thermal power stations, both situated in Gujarat, India.

Alstom ships the first Citadis tram to the city of Cuenca in Ecuador

The first Citadis tram for Cuenca has left Alstom’s factory at La Rochelle and is being shipped to Ecuador. On 17 May it is scheduled to leave the port of Antwerp towards its final destination where it is expected to arrive by end of June.

Alstom’s Metropolis sets sail for Los Teques

Alstom has shipped a Metropolis train destined for the metro of the city of Los Teques  in Venezuela. It will take three weeks to transport the train from the port of Le Havre, where it boarded, to its final destination where it will be handed over to the client.
