Alstom's APS equips the extended Bordeaux tramway line A, inaugurated on 24 January


Alstom's APS ground power supply system is equipping Bordeaux’s extended tramway line A, inaugurated on Saturday January 24, 2015 by the Bordeaux Urban Community (CUB). 

Alstom to provide signalling, telecom and electrification for the new Kochi metro line


Alstom has been awarded two contracts worth over €65 million from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to supply signalling, telecom and electrification solutions for the new Kochi metro line. The projects will be implemented in early 2016 and commercial service is scheduled to begin in March 2016.

Alstom achieved a sound level of orders and a solid increase in sales


Over the third quarter 2014/15 (from 1 October to 31 December 2014), Alstom booked €1.6 billion of orders, compared to €2.5 billion over the same period last year which included the Riyadh metro (€1.2 billion). The Group's sales, at €1.5 billion, were up 10% organically over the third quarter 2013/14.

Alstom will be back at the World Future Energy Summit (WFES), from the 19th to the 22nd of January, to present its latest technologies and long-lasting expertise in renewable energy and electricity transmission.

Alstom to modernise the signalling systems on the regional railway line from Beni Suef to Asyut


Alstom has been awarded a contract worth €100 million by Egyptian National Railways (ENR) to supply signalling equipment for the Beni Suef-Asyut line in Egypt. The contract also includes maintenance for five years. Delivery will start in 2016 and the system is due to be operational by January 2019.

Alstom to supply the power island for Kirikkale combined-cycle power plant


Alstom has been awarded two contracts worth over €220 million in total for the supply and the maintenance of the power island of the 950 MW Kirikkale combined-cycle power plant located in the central Anatolia region in Turkey. The plant is expected to be commissioned in May 2017.

Frédéric Brun has been appointed Director of Le Creusot site, a centre of expertise and reference for bogies for locomotives, trams and metros, employing almost 650 people.

Alstom delivers the last metro train to Trensurb, in Porto Alegre


Alstom delivers the last of the 15 Metropolis trains to Empresa de Trens Urbanos de Porto Alegre (Trensurb), following a contract signed in 2012.
