Alstom obtains final certification for the Haliade™ 150 - 6MW offshore wind turbine


The Alstom’s Haliade 150-6MW offshore wind turbine installed on the Carnet site in France has secured its final certification from the certification body DNV-GL.

Alstom’s 1MW tidal stream turbine installed in Scotland achieves 1 GWh power production


On the 6th December, the 1MW tidal stream turbine installed and connected by Alstom at the EMEC (European Marine Energy Centre) off the Orkney Islands, as part of the ReDAPT Project delivered in partnership with the Energy Technologies Institute, has produced 1 GWh for the grid. 

Alstom achieved a sound level of orders and a solid increase in sales


Over the third quarter 2014/15 (from 1 October to 31 December 2014), Alstom booked €1.6 billion of orders, compared to €2.5 billion over the same period last year which included the Riyadh metro (€1.2 billion). The Group's sales, at €1.5 billion, were up 10% organically over the third quarter 2013/14.

Alstom secures a second wind turbine contract in South Korea


Alstom has been awarded a contract by DaeMyoung Energy Corporation, subsidiary company of DaeMyoung GEC, a large engineering and construction services company in South Korea to provide wind turbines for Gowon wind farm.

Alstom to supply the power island for Kirikkale combined-cycle power plant


Alstom has been awarded two contracts worth over €220 million in total for the supply and the maintenance of the power island of the 950 MW Kirikkale combined-cycle power plant located in the central Anatolia region in Turkey. The plant is expected to be commissioned in May 2017.

Alstom’s tidal turbines have generated over 1GWh to the Scottish grid


As part of their testing programmes at the European Marine Energy Centre (EMEC) in Orkney, Scotland, Alstom’s tidal devices have now generated over 1GWh of electricity, in actual operating conditions, to the Scottish grid.

Alstom signs 12 year Long Term Service Agreement for North Bangkok combined-cycle power plant


Alstom has been selected by the Electricity Generating Authority of Thailand (EGAT) to provide turnkey maintenance for two gas turbines at the North Bangkok combined-cycle power plant (CCPP) Block 2. 

Alstom to upgrade Western Australia’s largest gas-fired power station


Alstom has been awarded a contract worth over €20 million (A$30 million) by NewGen Power Kwinana Pty Ltd to upgrade the 320MW combined-cycle Kwinana power station, south of Perth in Western Australia. The contract also incorporates an extension of the existing Long Term Parts Agreement (LTPA) to 2028.
