Alstom to supply 75 MW Francis turbine to Vietnam


Alstom has been awarded a contract worth around €13 million from Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) for the extension project of the Thac Mo 75 MW hydropower plant in Vietnam.

A ceremony took place on 10th of September, 2014 in Wicko (Poland) for the start of the construction of the 90 MW Lotnisko wind farm, which will be based in Kopaniewo, and which is one of the largest project in the Polish wind power industry.

Alstom to supply major equipment and maintenance package for Iberdrola’s Monterrey III power plant


Alstom has been awarded contracts worth approximately €335 million ($450M) to supply a power island (KA24) for Iberdrola’s Monterrey III combined-cycle power plant in Pesqueria, Nuevo Leon. The contracts also include a Long Term Service Agreement (LTSA) for new unit 5 and for the existing 4 units. The commissioning is scheduled in 2016.

Alstom’s orders in Q1 2014/15 boosted by rail contract in South Africa


From 1 April to 30 June 2014, Alstom booked €8.2 billion orders, twice the level of the first quarter last year. This record performance derives essentially from a contract with PRASA in South Africa booked in Transport for around €4 billion, as well as a good flow of orders in Renewable Power and Grid.
