Alstom and partners launch Transport Decarbonisation Alliance at ITF 2018 in Leipzig, Germany


Alstom and partner companies, cities and countries, today assembled in Leipzig, Germany, for the official launch of the Transport Decarbonisation Alliance (TDA), a coalition aiming to catalyse the accelerated decarbonisation of the transport sector.

Alstom, first company to get the ISO 45001 Occupational health and safety management certification in Spain


Alstom is the first company in Spain to receive the ISO 45001: 2018 Occupational Health and Safety management certification. This certification, issued by the National Entity Accreditation (ENAC, has been granted after an intense audit carried out by Det Noske Veritas- DNV GL - Business Assurance Company.

Alstom 2017/18 results


Between 1 April 2017 and 31 March 2018, Alstom booked €7.2 billion of orders. Over the same period, sales reached €8.0 billion, corresponding to an outstanding growth of 9% (10% organically).

Alstom’s Coradia iLint, the world’s first hydrogen fuel cell powered regional train, has won the GreenTec Award 2018 in the category Mobility by Schaeffler.

Alstom to supply 17 additional Metropolis trains for Singapore Circle Line and North East Line


Alstom has signed an agreement with Singapore Land Transport Authority (LTA) to supply six additional Metropolis trains (36 metro cars) and 11 additional Metropolis trains (33 metro cars) for the extensions of Singapore North East Line (NEL) and Circle Line (CCL) respectively.

Alstom-led consortium to provide complete driverless light metro system for Montreal


Groupe des Partenaires pour la Mobilité des Montréalais (PMM), the Alstom-led consortium with SNC-Lavalin, has signed a contract with CDPQ Infra to deliver a complete automatic and driverless light metro system, including rolling stock and signalling, as well as operation and maintenance services, for the Réseau express métropolitain (REM) project in Montreal, Canada.

Alstom announced the completion of its first all-electric locomotive from its state-of-the-art locomotive facility at Madhepura in the State of Bihar , on schedule. 

Alstom reinforces its digital offering with the acquisition of 21net, expert in onboard internet


Alstom has signed a purchase agreement for the acquisition of 21net, from the Innovacom fund and other investors. 21net is a provider of on-board Internet and passenger infotainment for the railway industry.
