Alstom to supply 38 Citadis Spirit Light Rail Vehicles for Stage 2 of Ottawa’s O-Train Confederation Line

Alstom has been awarded a contract worth close to €200 million (approximately CA$300 million) by Rideau Transit Group (RTG)  to supply 38 Citadis Spirit light rail vehicles for Stage 2 of the O-Train Confederation Line in Ottawa, Ontario.

Alstom today inaugurated the metro of Kochi (India), in presence of the Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi. As part of the €150 million project, the Alstom-built metros are the first to have been entirely designed in Bangalore and manufactured at Sri City in India supporting the Government’s ‘Make in India’ campaign.
