In March, we will inaugurate the first production line dedicated to Light Rail Vehicles in Latin America. The new unit, located in Taubaté, was built in eight months and a half and is the direct result of the work of a team that acted and will continue to act with a lot of synergy and team spirit.

In the next few weeks, you will get to know some of the characters of this story that is just beginning. Today, we introduce you to Aline Patto, responsible for the Supply Chain area of the new LRV plant.

I joined Alstom in 2008, and I always worked in the Transport Sector, in the Planning area.

In 2014, when I was invited to work on the project of the LRV plant, I was very excited with the opportunity to learn about a new product and having to adopt a new way of working, a new challenge. At first, I worked as Planner for the Porto Maravilha Project, and my activities included, among others: preparation of the project schedule, manufacture and control of deadlines. Since January this year I am responsible for the Supply Chain area, and I coordinate the team responsible for receiving materials, internal logistics and shipping.

So far, my greatest challenge was to deal with the planning of a new product based on French references, and having to deal with the cultural differences. However, I believe that the big challenges and learning are still to come, with the arrival of new employees and the commissioning of the new plant.

I know we will have a lot of work, but I am very excited and confident in the synergy acquired between the different areas involved in this project.
