Alstom Grid in Spain sponsors the Conference CIGRÉ, held in Madrid on 1st and 2nd December 2010

The 1st and 2nd December saw the National Cigré Committee in Spain, the international board for large electrical Systems and one of the main energy associations worldwide, hold it’s technical conferences in the hotel Melía in Madrid.

Alstom Grid, world leader in energy transmission and supplier of energy solutions for utility companies and large industrial companies all over the world, sponsored this conference.

During the first days, a session was held about “Objectives 20/20/20”, divided into four subjects: electrical cars, energy storage, sustainability and supply guarantees.

On the second day, various committees and study groups presented their results, as well as the panel EPEE, who discussed education in electricity engineering.
