On Tuesday 13th December, Alstom hosted a HNC graduation ceremony at its Rugby site for eight students who have all successfully passed their HNC’s in Mechanical Engineering over a staggering 14-week period at Warwickshire College in Rugby.
The students, along with relatives and friends were welcomed by Paul Bunn, Alstom Apprentice Officer. Steve Jones, Vice President Alstom Thermal Services North Europe Area, presented each student with their HNC certificates and extended an invitation to each student to spend a day with him to increase their understanding of the company.
In addition to receiving his HNC certificate, student Daniel Maynard was presented with an additional award - " The Automotive Trophy" for the best HNC of the year.
