Alstom at European Wind Energy Association (EWEA) 2011, Brussels, Belgium, 14th 17th March 2011

A long-lasting business partner of the European energy market, Alstom delivers higher yields in wind energy thanks to our market-leading technologies. With 30 years of experience in wind, we are ready to participate in the emerging and booming European wind power market.

Alstom Higher Yield Onshore

Having installed or currently installing more than 2,100 wind turbines in more than 110 wind farms, corresponding to a total capacity of more than 2,700 MW around the world, Alstom will offer higher yield through the upgrade of our ECO 100 turbine platform.

Alstom Offshore Solutions

A new offshore platform is under development to offer a 6MW turbine with direct-drive technology and ALSTOM PURE TORQUE  design for higher reliability. The prototype phase has started and will run through 2011 and 2012, followed by a pre-series in 2013 and series production in 2014.

ALSTOM PURE TORQUE Design for higher reliability

All Alstoms wind products feature the companys ALSTOM PURE TORQUE concept, a unique mechanical design concept which protects the drive train from deflection loads to ensure a higher reliability.

Alstoms experts shared their expertise at EWEA 2011.
