UK Power Apprentice Success in BOC Competition

On 12th May, two second-year Alstom Power apprentices participated in the BOC Welding Competition Regional Finals at Doosan Babcock, and came up trumps taking 1st and 3rd place.

Alstom's Richard Keatman, who scooped the coveted 1st prize, has now automatically earned a place in the BOC All England Welding Finals that'll take place on 6th and 7th July at Alstom's Welding Facility in Stafford. This prestigious event will involve entries from colleges and engineering companies from all over the country.  Adrian Kelly who took 3rd place is in a reserve position for the finals.
