Alstom and Thales to supply advanced CBTC signalling system to Hong Kong’s seven metro lines


Alstom and Thales were awarded a contract worth €330 million by MTR Corporation, the operator of Hong Kong’s metro network, to resignal and upgrade the signalling systems of seven metro lines .

Alstom to provide signalling, telecom and electrification for the new Kochi metro line


Alstom has been awarded two contracts worth over €65 million from Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to supply signalling, telecom and electrification solutions for the new Kochi metro line. The projects will be implemented in early 2016 and commercial service is scheduled to begin in March 2016.

Alstom achieved a sound level of orders and a solid increase in sales


Over the third quarter 2014/15 (from 1 October to 31 December 2014), Alstom booked €1.6 billion of orders, compared to €2.5 billion over the same period last year which included the Riyadh metro (€1.2 billion). The Group's sales, at €1.5 billion, were up 10% organically over the third quarter 2013/14.

Alstom to modernise the signalling systems on the regional railway line from Beni Suef to Asyut


Alstom has been awarded a contract worth €100 million by Egyptian National Railways (ENR) to supply signalling equipment for the Beni Suef-Asyut line in Egypt. The contract also includes maintenance for five years. Delivery will start in 2016 and the system is due to be operational by January 2019.

Alstom to supply the power island for Kirikkale combined-cycle power plant


Alstom has been awarded two contracts worth over €220 million in total for the supply and the maintenance of the power island of the 950 MW Kirikkale combined-cycle power plant located in the central Anatolia region in Turkey. The plant is expected to be commissioned in May 2017.

Agreement between Alstom and the US Department of Justice


Alstom has reached an agreement with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) to resolve the investigation into alleged violations of the U.S. Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA).

Alstom's Extraordinary Shareholders' Meeting, convened on 19 December 2014, approved the transaction to sell Alstom's Energy businesses to General Electric.

Alstom’s Pendolino fleet starts commercial service on the Polish network
