Alstom to supply Romania with Atlas 200, its ERTMS Level 2 solution


Alstom, leader of a consortium composed of Alcatel Lucent Romania and Pas 97 Impex, will supply the Romania national railway company (CFR S.A.) with Atlas 200, its ERTMS Level 2 solution for the Sighișoara-Coșlariu-Simeria high-speed railway segment. Alstom’s share in the contract is worth around €100 million.

In the context of the project between Alstom and General Electric, and in compliance with IFRS 5, Thermal Power, Renewable Power and Grid activities, as well as some corporate costs, have been classified as Discontinued Operations; they are therefore not included in orders, sales, income from operations and are reported under the “net income – discontinued operations” line.

Alstom to provide high efficiency Heat Recovery Steam Generators for two combined-cycle gas power plants in Texas


Alstom has signed a contract worth approximately €90 million (over $100M)  with Exelon Generation to supply four Heat Recovery Steam Generators (HRSGs) for two new combined-cycle gas power plants in Texas, 

Closing of the disposal of AREVA TA's Command & Control for Transportation activity to Alstom


The transfer of AREVA TA's Command & Control for Transportation (CCT) activity to Alstom was completed on October 31, 2014. This operation marks the conclusion of a process of information sharing and consultation with employee representative bodies of the concerned entities. Alstom will take on the employees of the CCT activity as part of its signalling division.

Alstom’s led SuperGrid Institute will be funded by the French state


The European Commission approved the €86.6 million fund from the French state's "Investissements d'avenir" program to support the research oriented Institut pour la Transition Energétique (ITE) 'SuperGrid Institute'.

Alstom to supply the city of Strasbourg with 12 Citadis trams


Alstom has signed a framework agreement with the Communauté des Transports Strasbourgeois (CTS, the Strasbourg Transport Company) for the supply of 50 Citadis trams. The first part of the agreement concerns an order for 12 trams, worth a total of 41 million euros. These are expected to enter service by the end of 2016.

Alstom to supply 12 metro sets for Lines 2, 5 and 9 of the Paris metro


Alstom, working as part of a consortium with Bombardier Transport and AREVA TA, will be supplying STIF  (the Ile-de-France Transport Authority) and RATP  (the Paris-based public transport operator) with 12 new MF01  metro sets for lines 2 (Porte-Dauphine-Nation), 5 (Place d’Italie-Bobigny) and 9 (Pont de Sèvres-Mairie de Montreuil) of the Paris metro network. The project is worth around 75 million Euros.
