Alstom T&D India has been awarded a contract worth 840 MINR from Chattisgarh State Power Transmission Co Ltd (CSPTCL), for the erection, testing and commissioning of a 400 kV substation at Jagdalpur in the state of Chattisgarh, Central India.

Alstom Bharat Forge Power Ltd. (ABFPL), the joint venture company between Alstom and Bharat Forge, has secured an order worth over €250 million (INR 1570) crore for the supply to NTPC Limited of two units of 660 MW supercritical coal “turbine islands” in Solapur located in the state of Maharashtra in India. Alstom’s share of the contract amounts to approximately €125 million and will be booked in April 2012.
