Alstom Hydro in Russia, almost 60 people, have recently relocated to the new office which was officially inaugurated today in the presence of Patrick Kron, Alstom Chairman and CEO. For most of the Alstom Hydro Russia employees, it was the very first meeting with the Alstom’s President.
On April 20th CEO of Alstom Patrick Kron visited the official ceremony of the 10th anniversary of Transmashholding (TMH). About 300 guests gathered for the occasion, including Secretary of State for Transport of France Thierry Mariani and CEO of RZD Vladimir Yakunin.

Alstom Grid has been awarded a contract worth approximately €240 million by the Swedish utility Svenska Kraftnät for the 1440 MW South-West Link. The project will connect Barkeryd in central Sweden to Hurva in southern Sweden, using High Voltage Direct Current (HVDC) technology. The contract is registered in the third quarter of Alstom’s fiscal year 2011/2012.
