With a presence in Spain since 1989, Alstom achieved sales in the financial year 2010/2011 exceeding 874 million euros and employs around 4,000 people. Alstom has a permanent, industrial presence in 14 out of 17 autonomous regions in Spain, amongst others in Andalusia, Castile and León, Catalonia, Galicia, Madrid, Navarre and the Basque Country.
