Alstom has received the Top Employers Spain 2017 certification, which confirms that it is one of the country’s best companies to work for. Alstom was awarded the certification after attaining the standards required in an in-depth research survey conducted by the Top Employers Institute, a company that since 1991 has been globally certifying excellence in the conditions that employers create for their people.

More specifically, the HR Best Practices Survey measures close to 600 practices, in order to evaluate the company’s employee conditions. The international independent audit covers on nine different topics: Talent Strategy, Workforce Planning, On-boarding, Learning and Development, Performance Management, Compensation and Benefits, Career and Succession Management, Leadership Development and Culture.

Top Employers Institute in Spain’s CEO Salvador Ibáñez stressed that “Certification is only awarded to the best employers around the world: companies that demonstrate the highest standards of employee offerings”. The Top Employers Institute’s research assesses all critical areas of the Human Resources environment, certifying organisations that can demonstrate they are continuously optimising employee conditions and leading the way in the development of their people.

“One more year, the Top Employer methodology has helped us to identify areas for improvement in our processes and to continue working in order to add value to the people who integrate Alstom. This process also allows us to share best practices with other companies that share the common he ambition to achieve business goals through our teams success", underlines Jose Antonio Rodriguez, Alstom’s Spain and Portugal Human Resources Director.
