Alstom Foundation in Chile
As in the countries where Alstom is present, in Chile the Alstom Foundation has supported and financed projects to improve the living conditions of the community. These projects, supported by Alstom employees in association with local partners and NGOs, aim to generate a positive impact on the environment.
Alstom Foundation's most recent initiatives in Chile include:
The inauguration of two new public squares in Maipú (Metropolitan Region) took place in August 2024. Developed with the Mi Parque Foundation and the Municipality of Maipú, the project was designed with local communities and authorities to offer residents safer, high‑quality public spaces.
The Alstom Foundation also supported efforts against the major forest fires that struck southern Chile in February 2023 and the Valparaíso Region in February 2024, donating funds to Bomberos de Chile and the NGO Desafío Levantemos Chile to assist firefighting and emergency relief for affected communities.
