ALSTOM Transport at GART 2003

The theme for GARTs 19th Public Transport Meeting, held
at the Parc des Expositions in Nantes, was 'Mobility and durable
development  from decision to action.'

ALSTOM demonstrated its capacity to respond to the needs of
customers by presenting three commercial successes that cover the
entire urban/suburban market:

• CITADIS tramways and the new Innorail technology for
  ground-level power supply    
• Automatic metros (with a focus on the Singapore Northeast
  Line)    
• CORADIA family of regional trains (Z TER, TER 2N NG and
  others)

The even was well attended by representatives of the French
regions, who were able to meet and speak with the members of the
ALSTOM team at the expo.

An ALSTOM speaker also gave a presentation at a workshop with
the theme, 'The tram-train: a new concept for public transport
management.'
