The contract concerns two new high-speed lines, each 30
kilometers long, one from the Antwerp region to the Netherlands
and the other from the Liege region to Germany. ALSTOM will
manage the project and supply ERTMS Level 2 equipment piloted by
interlocking technology from its SMARTLOCK range.

The other members of the consortium are Siemens, which will
supply ERTMS Level 1 equipment, and a group of companies
responsible for the installation of equipment.
