Diesel-engined vehicles made up of two coaches, Coradia LINT
trains can operate at speeds of up to 120km/h. Each train can
accommodate 126 passengers. The continuous low floor, mobile
pallets located at the entrance to the trains, and gangways
between the coaches make access and getting around on board
easier, in particular for people with reduced mobility. The
trains are also equipped with tactile pictograms for the
partially sighted, as well as toilets arranged for passengers
with disabilities. Lastly, the Coradia LINT trains are air
conditioned and equipped with multi-activity zones.

Since the launch of the first regional trains in the Coradia
LINT range, in the year 2000, Alstom has sold almost 400 trains
in Germany, the Netherlands and Denmark, to public and private
operators. Proven and particularly reliable, Coradia LINT
trains have covered over 200 million kilometres in commercial
service. In Germany, Deutsche Bahn AG has already placed orders
for 143 Coradia LINTs.
