  • Alstom welcomes mobility professional and strategic thought leader

14 November 2023 - Lilian Meyer has been named the new Managing Director and Customer Director at Alstom Austria since 1 November. The 51-year-old has many years of international experience in the mobility sector, specialising in business development, product management and corporate development. Most recently, Meyer was responsible for Group strategy and corporate development at ÖBB Holding AG, before which she held management positions at Siemens AG, Mobility Division.

Lilian Meyer is delighted to be working at Alstom's long-established site in Vienna, where trams are produced for the whole world. "Environmentally friendly mobility and intelligent transport solutions are crucial for a future worth living. Alstom is one of the most important global players and is aware of its responsibility for the mobility transition. That is why we not only focus on the quality of our services, but especially on the quality of our customer relationships," says Meyer.

Alstom welcomes Lilian Meyer, a strategic thought leader in the railway industry, to the team. She succeeds Jörg Nikutta, who has moved to the Europe region within the Alstom Group.
