STEAM Shakti: Igniting curiosity in Bihar
The Challenge
In rural schools, rote learning dominates, limiting curiosity and access to science.
We established STEAM labs in Madhepura's schools, paired with teacher training in inquiry-based methods. Students work on local problem-solving projects and showcase them during fairs like National Science Day. This loop of exposure, practice, and recognition builds scientific confidence. The rationale: make science experiential and aspirational, inspiring children to see themselves as future engineers and innovators.
