    In the heart of Berlin, Alstom’s Central Northern Europe regional HQ focuses on rail digitalisation and corporate functions.

    In Bautzen, we manufacture S-Bahn trains, trams, and light rail vehicles – focusing on final assembly, commissioning, and delivery.

  • Braunschweig (Services)

    In Braunschweig, Alstom operates a service and maintenance centre, where over 200 colleagues not only handle vehicle maintenance but also perform major overhauls of the vehicles.

  • Braunschweig (ARTmax)

    At ARTmax in Braunschweig, we develop and implement digital interlockings and ETCS trackside equipment for rail digitalisation.

  • Hattingen

    In Hattingen, Alstom provides service and modernisation for shunting locomotives, backed by over 100 years of experience.

  • Hennigsdorf

    In Hennigsdorf, 2,100 colleagues, including 800 engineers, develop, manufacture, and maintain high-speed, regional, and local trains, subways, as well as trams and light rail vehicles.

  • Kassel

    From Kassel, more than 35,000 locomotives have been delivered worldwide. At this traditional Alstom site, we manufacture the renowned Traxx locomotive platform.

  • Mannheim

    In Mannheim, we develop locomotives, as well as signalling and propulsion technologies, for vehicles operating worldwide.

  • Salzgitter

    In Salzgitter, 2,000 colleagues design and manufacture eco-friendly hydrogen and electric trains, locomotives, and streetcars, as well as bogies, and repair freight cars.

  • Siegen

    Our Siegen site is an international competence centre for bogies. Our colleagues ensure stability and comfort on the rails worldwide.

  • Stendal & Waibstadt

    In Stendal and Waibstadt, we provide comprehensive service and modernisation for shunting locomotives and multiple units.
